Six Years
Brett and I celebrated our six year anniversary this month. We were able to escape for a couple of hours and go hit a bucket of golf balls and go to lunch (we did take Ellie with us but she slept the whole time). It is always fun to reflect back each year on what we've done and see all of our memories. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband. He is truly my best friend and such a light in my life. It has been a great six years!!

We had a fun Christmas day hike on a nearby mountain. It is so fun to live in a place where we can enjoy being outdoors in the winter. (We definitely paid the price this summer for the good winter weather though). We all really enjoy being outside, hiking around. Maya has become a great hiker and can last for several miles. She especially likes it when we are going up some kind of an incline and when big rocks are involved. It is fun to watch her growing up and able to do more things.

The kids love to have Brett read books to them. He is always very animated and is happy to take as much time as the want looking at each page. We spend a lot of hours looking at books. This happens to be one of their favorites right not..."Tiger can't sleep". It is about a little boy who can't sleep because there is a tiger in his closet. Maya and Mason think it is hilarious.

Mason loves sweets...I wonder where he gets that from...it couldn't be from his parents.
