Mason's growing up

Mason is already 7 weeks old. We can't believe how quickly the time is going. It is definitely faster than when Maya was born, probably because we are busier. We love our little guy. He is such a sweetie and still a pretty good sleeper. He generally stays awake for a couple hours a day and then sleeps most of the rest of the time. He also gets plenty of attention from his older sister. Whenever she comes upstairs she is looking for him. Mason gets the "pick-ups" (according to Maya) quite often, but is a pretty good sport about it. When we went to the library the other day we ended up finding a book about the "pick-ups" so we checked it out. Maya playing with her puppets.

And more sleeping. Mason is definitely a tummy sleeper. If he sleeps on his back he startles really easily and usually has his arms spread eagle like this. He doesn't last long on his back, so we don't usually waste our energy trying.

Diva Maya
Sibling Time. Maya loves to hold Mason in her lap and have us read to them. She does a pretty good job with him until she is ready to stand up and then basically just throws him off. We have to stay pretty close, but love to see her love him.

Mason is starting to smile and coo a little. He likes to be where we are when he is awake and listens to us talk.
