We got to go on two Easter Egg Hunts this year. (one was technically canceled but because so many of us ended up showing up we did it anyway). Maya was in heaven...finding eggs filled with candy and being able to eat all of it. We wised up by the second go around and removed some of the candy before she opened the eggs, to save for later.
Saturday we decided to dye our own boiled eggs. It was so much fun. We did it outside, which was a great idea because we didn't have to worry about spilling dye inside. Maya loved it. After we dyed our eggs we decided to eat them. Maya tried to crack a few of them open like she does with raw eggs. Needless to say they didn't fare so well, but we had fun showing her how to peel them.
Maya won this bubble blower at the ward egg hunt. We had fun trying it out.
Easter morning. The Easter Bunny brought all of us little boxes of cereal in our baskets. Maya wanted to put the whole box in her bowl but it wouldn't fit, so we split it into two bowls.
Easter dress ups. After we got ready for church Maya tried on these beads that my sister sent her. (They live in New Orleans and had tons of Mardi Gras beads that she didn't want. She sent them to Maya to play with.)
