Two Years Old
Maya turned two this last week. She had fun anticipating her birthday and especially looked forward to making cupcakes. She has also been practicing saying "I'm two" and holding up her two fingers. At random times, like while driving in the car, she will figure out how to get her two fingers up and announce proudly that she is two. We feel so blessed to have such a sweet daughter and love her so much. She is such a joy in our lives.

Maya picked out this doll for her birthday. She has enjoyed playing with her and has somehow figured out how to pull her all apart. I came downstairs yesterday and found a leg at the bottom of the stairs. The rest of her appendages were scattered around her bedroom.
Maya and Daddy. Maya loves when Brett comes home from work. When she hears the garage door going up she often runs and opens the door from the house to say hello to him. They love to run around and tickle each other. They also like to make daddy or Maya sandwiches on the bed with all of the pillows.
