Maya and I often like to sit on the kitchen floor and have a snack. Brett caught us with a plate full of nachos.

Maxwell, the turtle. Brett and I took a trip to Arizona over our anniversary. Brett had an interview at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and then we took a few days and stayed with my dad and Sherron. It was so fun. Max was just getting ready to hibernate for the winter. It was so fun to be away for a few days and enjoy the Arizona sun. (actually it rained almost the whole time we were there, but it was still a fun trip.) Brett got the fellowship position at the Mayo Clinic, so we will be moving there in June 2009. We are very excited for such a great opportunity.

"Christmas morning" We celebrated Christmas early this year because Maya and I were leaving for Utah (Brett had to work the week of Christmas) before Christmas. Brett joined us for the week of New Years. Maya's big present for Christmas was a care bear. She has named him Charlie and loves to take him everywhere.
