Summer Time Fun!
We have had a great week of warm weather and have been enjoying spending a lot of time outside. We got this little inflatable pool last week and Maya loved it. She especially liked going down the slide into the water, but quickly jumped up when she landed in the cold hose water. It warmed up a little bit and with the 80+ degrees outside it was actually quite refreshing.
We planted our garden in all peas a couple of weeks ago. Since they come on so early we decided that we'd do them all in peas and then when they finish will put in our tomatoes and squash. They are already about and inch and a half tall. We can't wait to have fresh peas again. It has been fun to have our little garden and enjoy fresh vegetables.




































Maya has just discovered crayons and is beginning to learn how to color. She mostly just pounds them on the page and is so pleased with herself when a fleck actually sticks, so we have a little work to do, but she is getting quite good at dumping them all out and then putting them back in the crayon box.

















Brett and Maya have a great time together. They were having fun with their corn on the cob the other night at dinner.
