These are a few of our favorite things! Maya has discovered that there are wonderful, interesting things under the bathroom sink. She loves to crawl under there and pull the rubber gloves out of the box and try to blow them up. Usually after her bath she races to the cupboard and climbs in. I don't mind, as long as I can get a diaper on her before she does it (which is usually quite difficult because as soon as the towel comes off she runs away and jumps into the cupboard.)
Maya also loves bath time. She got a couple of new bath toys for her birthday and has really enjoyed them. She has a whale that suctions to the tub and does all sorts of tricks. Her favorite thing to do with it is pull on the tail and make it rotate around--causing a clicking noise. She also got some foam letter which stick to the side of the tub. She can hardly contain her excitement when she gets one to stick and bursts out into clapping and laughing. She is quite entertaining. Needless to say, we spend some time every day in the tub.
Another one of Maya's favorite things is her bed. She spends a lot of time in it between night time and two naps, they have become quite familiar. Sometimes when we put her to bed she lays down, starts shaking her head yes and giggles. Luckily she has always been a good sleeper. I am sure we will be ruined for future children, but we are enjoying it right now.
