Maya experienced her first campout on this trip. We had the Christian Family Campout up in the Unita's at a place called . It was a great campsite with a lake just below for fishing and paddling around. We drove up on Thursday morning and stayed over two nights and drove back home on Saturday. Everyone had a great time (unfortunately Cory and Mark and Coke and their kids couldn't come), we'll hopefully make it a yearly tradition, with everyone next year. Photo's
.playing Nerts the first night at camp
.Jenny enjoying scrambled eggs and toast. Brett and I were in charge of breakfast the first morning.
.Brett, cooking our scrambled eggs.
.Grandma Christian, relaxing.
.Brett and Maya, chilling around the campfire
.Brett and Jenny out fishing. Our little boat had a slow air leak, so we had to watch that so we didn't get too low. Brett was the fisherman of the trip (he caught two), and I was the line tangler of the trip, but amazingly enough all of the knots came out without having to break the line. We had a great time laughing out in the middle of the lake.
.Jenny and Kathryn enjoying a turn around the lake. Once we finally figured out how to paddle the boat in a straight line we were able to manuver pretty well. It was quite comical at first.
.Macey, gathering firewood for Lewis's fire.
.Kerri and Brock, outside the trailer.
.More wood collectors, Cole and Brock.

.Maya and Grandpa Christian. It was nice to finally get some good face time with each other. Maya was fascinated with Grandpa's glasses and hat.

What a great trip!
